The NRL recognise and acknowledge the commitment and dedication our volunteers and players have on community each year

Since the first Awards in 2007, the NRL Community Awards have grown into Rugby League’s most prestigious community-focused awards ceremony. It engages the entire Rugby League family, as they connect the grassroots to the elite level. The Awards honour the individuals who work tirelessly in the community to make Rugby League Australia’s favourite sport.

A young person who has made a significant contribution to their community through rugby league.

NRL Indigenous Community Award

Presented to an individual who has acted as an exceptional advocate for the growth of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s participation in rugby league.

Teacher Of The Year Award

A teacher who has demonstrated exceptional support of Rugby League.
